IGN: It’s been a long time since you’ve seen the first film in the “Cowboy” franchise, and that’s not something you expect to be able to remember.
So, let’s just say you’re not quite ready to see it in full.
We spoke to producer Mike De Luca about the process of creating a film that’s so “true to the spirit of the original” that you’ll be able “to look at it as an allegory” of the comic book world.
But we did hear that the first two films in the franchise will be released in 2018 and 2019, which are technically “the same year,” meaning you can expect to see them both on the same day.
That’s right, we hear the two will be coming out in 2018, 2019, 2020.
So you’ll get both of those in the same year, so it’s pretty good timing.
But as we mentioned, this isn’t an official announcement, but De Lucas told IGN he is “going to let people know.”
It’s been nearly 30 years since the original “Cowboys” was released, but you can still experience the original’s magic and wonder when those adventures will be made available again.
And as De Lucan told IGN, “We’re going to see if we can figure out some sort of way that can allow people to experience those adventures in a way that’s consistent with the comic books.”
In the meantime, you can watch “Cowgirls” on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Vudu, and other platforms.
